Update through 11/6/13

3090 TNR cats have been sterilized since the start of the program 8/1/11. To date we have 200 permitted colony managers with 3270 feral colony cats documented.

We are in contract negotiations again. A local ballot initiative that we participated in, 1a, failed on Tuesday. It would have provided stable funding for us and 5 other non-profits running government owned facilities. We were very disappointed it failed as now we are in the same position as last year. We hope the city and county can find a resolution to this issue so we can stay in Pueblo. I will keep you updated.

Hope you are doing well and as always- we appreciate your continued support for cats in Pueblo!

Take Care,

Julie

Update through 9/6/13.

2632 TNR cats have been sterilized since the start of the program 8/1/11. To date we have 174 permitted colony managers with 2853 feral colony cats documented. We continue work on the 81001 project and have completed 266 owned pet cats and 660 community cats in that zip code. Only 124 to go! We are pretty sure we will finish this month.

Thank you for supporting our program!

Cheers,

Julie

Pueblo Animal Service update through 8/6/13:

So far 2488 TNR cats have been sterilized since the start of the program 8/1/11. It is really hard to believe that our TNR program is now two years old! To date we have 160 permitted colony managers with 2657 feral colony cats documented. We continue to work on our Cats to Fix program in the 81001 zip code of Pueblo. We have completed 552 Feral cats and 238 owned pet cats from that zip code for this project. Only 260 cats to go to hit the 1050 goal for that zip code. Our TNR Coordinator, Vanessa Stansell, has been doing a fantastic job trapping cats and handling the permitting process.

As always, thank you for all of your help with saving cats lives in the Pueblo area."

Cheers,

Julie
